The Pretentiously Named –  Psychology of Fashion in a Galaxy Far, Far Away…

Why is it exactly that some people care so much about how they look in a virtual environment, when others don’t care at all? You could ask the same of Neo and Morpheus, why did they care so much about how they looked whilst running around a world they knew to be false? The term “mental projection of your digital self” rings very true when I think of how I’ve styled my characters whilst playing any MMO, RPG or even a FPS. If I was in the universe I am playing in, what would I actually wear?

Given the guild’s interest in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, we have decided to run the Topic of Interest series, looking at some of the other available Final Fantasy games in the series. The eponymous title in the Final Fantasy series was initially released in 1987 in Japan with an English (US) release following some three years later.

Good news everyone! As of last night, we now have at least a full 8-man (and women) end-game operations team for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Now that we have a team, we can start hacking away at those end-game dungeons and trials! With a lack of lockouts, we can run them as many times as we want, ensuring we get good loot for all of our fellow members!

To help record our adventures together, we have decided to release a monthly newsletter called Orphan Legacy. We will be releasing this on the 1st of every month (or there abouts) with information regarding primarily Star Wars: The Old Republic and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn along with other  «Orphans of Taris» related news. Issue #001 will be released on Thursday 1st May 2014.
